What customers are saying about KOKO Camden

Here are some reviews of KOKO Camden pulled from online sources:

a. Fast service

It is a nice very cosy venue with easy access to a bar. There was no long waiting to get a drink as staff was pretty fast.

b. Helpful staff

The staff went out of their way to accommodate my disabled mother despite my very last-minute request for her to have a seat. The staff were incredibly friendly, and professional and took great care of us. The building outside and inside is absolutely beautiful, with great acoustics and atmosphere. We travelled all the way from Cardiff and it was definitely a night to remember. We will be keeping an eye out for future concerts here.

c. Poor security

THIEVES attend this club! Paid £67 for an oversold, overcrowded and potentially dangerous event.
My phone was STOLEN out of my bag and when I got to the front desk there were other people saying the same had happened to them. So-called ‘security’ and ‘management’ laughed in our faces, asking “What do you want us to do about it”
The venue was so overcrowded it was easy for a ‘pickpocket’ situation to happen and they were still letting people in!!

d. Overcrowded and dangerous

I strongly recommend you to never, never step your feet on KOKO Camden. This venue is totally irresponsible in terms of security. I went there yesterday for the Liam Gallagher concert. At first, when I entered the place, nobody checked my belongings. Anybody could easily enter with a knife or a gun. Secondly, during the show, people were drunk and insane, so there was very heavy crowd pushing. A crowd burst (with its tragic consequences) wasn’t far from happening. I say this with property, as I’m a doctor: people can die asphyxiated with this kind of situation. At some point, I couldn’t breathe properly and started feeling dizzy.
